News letter for October |
||
๐๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ Our Newsletter for October is here ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ป
In the month of October we hold our Hate Crime Awareness Week โ If youโd like any information on Hate Crime, or have been affected by it, please come to our engagements on the 11th, 16th and 17th to discuss any concerns you might have.
October also means the darker evenings are drawing in, so weโd like to offer some safety tips on keeping yourself and your home safe: ๐Leave a light on in more than one room. ๐ปUse timer switches or make the most of Alexa routines for lights. ๐Make sure your front door is well lit / consider security lighting. ๐ปConsider having a good quality CCTV system installed. ๐Keep curtains/blinds closed at night. ๐ปRemember to check batteries in torches and smoke alarms.
๐ซฑ๐ฝโ๐ซฒ๐ฝ Please come along to out engagements - this gives you the opportunity to meet your local team, face to face and discuss any local issues that you may have and see what we can do to help.
Remember - from Shirebrook, we cover the following areas: ๐๐ผ Shirebrook, Langwith, Scarcliffe and Whaley Thorns - ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ PC's Jake STONE and Ash CUTT, PCSO's Samantha FELLOWS and Evan MASON. ๐๐ผ New Houghton, Pleasley, Glapwell, Bramley Vale and Doe Lea - ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ PC Robbie HAGUE and PCSO Dave HANCOCK.
